🕯️ What this site keeps

Short version: almost nothing. No ads, no trackers, no cookies, nothing sold.

If you just read

Server logs. Like every web server, mine logs each request (IP address, page, time, browser). They help me spot bots and broken pages, and they're deleted after 14 days.
Visitor counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views (country, page, browser). It uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
Fonts come from this site, not from Google, so nothing about your visit goes to Google.
Your look choice (parchment or haunted) is saved in your own browser, never sent to me.

I keep your name, email, comment, the page and the time, and it's emailed to me so I can reply.
Your IP is held in memory for up to a day to stop spam floods, then forgotten. It is never written to the comment log.
Never shared, never added to any list, never published. Want it deleted? Email me and it's gone.
